This special event, MC'd by WPRI Meteorologist Mark Searles, will bring the community together to celebrate strength and resilience through the beauty of fashion.  Each participating model will share her journey by walking a short runway, symbolizing her long journey of recovery and healing. The healing process of those affected by losing a loved one that has suffered from mental health issues, and those fighting breast cancer is often overwhelming.  For millions who have faced these challenges, the recovery period can be very lonely.  We believe each woman’s story will raise awareness and inspire funding for local programs that offer support and healing.  Every ticket sold and every tax-deductible donation will directly benefit local programs committed to improving the lives and well-being of those affected.
